In 2003 the ETH launched the BEST strategic initiative. The BEST was designed to foster far-reaching interdisciplinary projects and coordinate interdepartmental teaching programs in the expanding areas of BioEngineering, BioSystems and BioTechnology, BEST.

This website is dedicated to the BioEngineering Cluster, or BEC, of the BEST initiative.

Masters Program in Biomedical Engineering

The BEC is also proud to be the home of the new Masters Program in Biomedical Engineering, the first Masters in Biomedical Engineering in Switzerland. The inaugural class commences fall 2005.
